Turn Runaround Off for All Graphics
SetRunaroundToNone.fsi
Problem description
FrameMaker has an option to let the text flow around a graphic according to specific criteria (the so-called runaround).
While scrolling through a document, FrameMaker will often undesirably switch to the page with the insertion point when the bounding box of a graphic ‘touches’ a text frame (‘Scrollback Bug’;
ATN 322405).
To eliminate this problem, we recommend that you disable the runaround for the graphics.
Note: When importing graphics, the ‘Runaround’ setting is automatically applied to the graphic. This default setting cannot be changed.
Function description
The script removes the runaround for all imported graphics in the current document or all documents of the current book.
Execute the script only if none of the graphics captions in your documents requires a runaround!
Requirements
- FrameMaker 6.0 or higher
- FrameScript/ElmScript 4.1 or higher
Notes
The script works with structured and unstructured documents.
The script Scale Graphics Proportionally can be used to prevent a runaround being applied to graphics during the import.
