Problem description
FrameMaker permits direct switching to a certain page within the current document only.
Determining the desired target page and the corresponding document in the book window is cumbersome.
Function description
The script permits direct switching to a certain page of a book from any document or book window.
If multiple book windows are open, the desired book can be specified.

Requirements
- FrameMaker 6.0 or higher
- FrameScript/ElmScript 4.1 or higher
Notes
The script works with structured and unstructured documents.
You can also switch to a certain master page or reference page in the current document. Entering part of the page name is sufficient.
Page numbers in ‘3-12’ style where the chapter number precedes the page number are supported by the script when using ‘real’ chapter numbers. When the chapter numbers are controlled through paragraph numbering, the script will not work here.
