Problem description
The determination of the colors of a document, their color values and print settings is only possible individually for every color via the ‘Color definitions’ window in FrameMaker.
The settings for the separation of the individual colors in the six possible color separation sets, however, can only be seen under a different dialog.
Function descriptions
The script creates a report with all defined colors of a document or all documents of a book.
In addition to a sample field, the CMYK color content and other settings, the settings for the color separation set are also listed.
Color separation 1– 6: N = Normal, C = Cutout, – = Invisible
The column heading of the currently selected color separation is marked bold.
Requirements
- FrameMaker 6.0 or higher
- FrameScript/ElmScript 4.1 or higher
Notes
The script works with structured and unstructured documents.

The report is saved in the document folder (‘_[i]_ColorList.fm’).
