Problem description
The structure of tables must frequently be checked in the scope of quality assurance, e.g. whether certain table types are anchored in a specific paragraph.
FrameMaker offers no such function. This check can only occur directly in the respective tables.
Function description
The script creates a report with hyperlinks to all tables in the document.
The following checks (among others) can be done with the report:
Which table types are used?
Are certain table types anchored in the correct paragraph format?
Are table anchors placed in their own paragraphs?
Do specific tables have the required total width?
Requirements
- FrameMaker 6.0 or higher
- FrameScript/ElmScript 4.1 or higher
Notes
The script works with structured and unstructured documents.
The report is saved in the document folder (‘_[i]_TableList.fm’).
